Welcome

5th Grade Around the World

As I travel I will be visiting 5th grade classrooms and sharing facts about Alaska. I made a slideshow about our land, people, and fun things like the Iditarod and the Midnight Sun and my favorite- smoked salmon! My mom is going to home-school me using our I.D.E.A. program and my mom is going to make a movie about all me and all my new friends along the way (www.affinityfilms.org) We will be staying with families when we can through the SERVAS Network. I love to learn new things and yes, even try new foods!

I am an all-American boy -Scouts, baseball, soccer, Yugioh cards and I love to read- but I am most proud of being trained as a Mediator. My dream is for us kids to make friendships we can use when we grow up so if conflicts arise between countries we can resolve them peacefully. I care about my planet and my people.
